North Lakes Recreation Center

Description

North Lakes Recreation Center operates as one of three recreation centers under The City of Denton Parks and Recreation Department. We offer a fitness room that includes treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, a stair mill, weight machines and free weights. With a large variety of group exercise classes, there's bound to be something for everyone. We offer a state licensed part-time pre-school program, children's classes such as sport samplers, ballet and tap, art and drawing, beginning Spanish, Lego engineering and much more. We currently offer therapeutic recreation programs for sensory time and art and are hoping to add additional programs in the near future. In addition to our ongoing programs, we host two special events each year. The Jack O' Lantern Jog in October and Mud Volleyball Tournament in May.
