Mission Statement

We strive to inspire young musicians by instilling confidence, teamwork, leadership, and a heart for service through the training of master level choral technique.
We provide opportunities for our singers to perform choral music in support of civic, sacred, military, and cultural events in local, national, and international venues.
We provide a challenging and stimulating repertoire that covers a broad spectrum of musical style and expression.
We create a safe environment that encourages diversity and welcomes families from all cultural, racial, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Locally, the TCC has provided music for the San Antonio City Council meetings, the San Antonio Rotary Club, the Mayor's Annual Fundraising Gala for the San Antonio Children's Shelter, SAMMinistries Thanksgiving fundraising services, wounded military at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Silver Star ceremony for "Our War Hero's", and an annual presentation at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in "Honor Of Al l Who Served." The children performed a Christmas concert for Brooke Army Medical Center. They have stood in rank with the Air Force Band of the West and the U.S. Army Medical Band. They provide early baroque choral music, featured annually with the Texas Bach Choir. They performed with the San Antonio Chordsmen along with Dave Rios in their Christmas concert. They also joined up with Dr. Stephen Ackert, Director of Music at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. to present "Art Masterpieces and Organ and Choral Music from the Romantic Period", a recital and lecture, at the San Antonio Museum of Art. The Texas Children's Choir performed two works by composers Gabriel Faur, and Johannes Brahms. They have been called upon to provide music for receptions and dinners for the CEO's of the YMCA, Harcourt Publishers, and the International Red Cross.
