The American Heart Association helps the community through research, education, health initiatives and advocacy. The American Heart Association funds research, takes what it learns and transfers this information into processes that impact people's lives. That knowledge and those processes are then transferred to patients, physicians, hospitals and healthcare providers as well as the general public.
