The Dayton Ballet, Opera, and Philharmonic, through a sustainable and innovative collaboration, locally produce the highest-quality performances, making Dayton a destination for diverse audiences to experience arts and education vital to life.

Description

July 1, 2012, the Dayton Ballet, Dayton Opera and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra merged to become the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA). United in their missions to produce and present classical-music-based performing arts locally in the greater Dayton community, this merger creates many opportunities for collaborations and operating efficiencies.

The merged company continues to produce the existing performance series of the three groups, including staged operas, story and repertoire ballets, and the Philharmonic’s various concert series, as well as outstanding educational programs.
