G2L builds on the expertise of Washington State’s global health institutions, bringing home strategies that have proved effective in addressing health disparities in developing countries. G2L is piloting approaches to improve individual and community health outcomes, lower health care costs, and empower economic development.

Description

Global health innovations have had tremendous impacts on fighting disease and improving health around the world. At the same time, health disparities in the United States continue to grow.

Washington State and Seattle are at the forefront of global health, yet King County has some of the worst health disparities in the United States. Could some of the innovations from the world of global health help reduce these disparities here at home?
