Our volunteers are a diverse group of individuals who dedicate their time and passion to Methodist Hospitals. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and are brought together by a common desire to help others. Volunteers are men, women and teenagers.

Volunteers support Methodist Hospitals’ goal of providing the very best care for our patients and their families. Helping is what we’re all about...whether it’s helping nurses and staff, answering questions in the surgery waiting area, working in the gift shop, or helping a patient feel more comfortable....we are honored to help patients and their families deal with what can be difficult times.

As a volunteer, you'll be providing vital support and assisting with many of the services that contribute to the quality of care and comfort for our patients. Not only will you be helping others, you will gain a sense of accomplishment and pride while increasing your self-esteem. You will also have a chance to meet a diverse range of people and simply have fun doing it!

Our volunteers wear their pink and red jackets proudly. If you want to make a difference in the lives of others, then we are holding a jacket just for you.
