The mission of Four Paws Food Pantry is to provide pet food to families in financial crisis so that these families can keep and properly care for their pets. We promote and may partner with other pet welfare groups in our community to provide spay/neuter information to reduce the number of unwanted pets and to educate people on responsible pet ownership.
Who are we? We are a group of volunteers who love animals and want to improve their lives by keeping them with their families and out of our local shelter.
Why do we do it? The economic downturn continues to have a tremendous impact on Loudon County families as jobs continue to be lost and businesses closed. Families have been forced to to surrender their pets because they just cannot affortd to feed them anymore. The need for petfood assistance grows every day.
How do we do it? Four Paws Food Pantry has partnered with the Good Samaritan Center of Loudon County to distribute pet food which to Loudon County families in need. In order to accomplish this, we have at least two big fundraisers a year and mail out two newsletters yearly in order to raise funds to buy the pet food.
