Mission Statement

Save the lives of homeless, neglected, abused and unwanted companion animals in the Twin Cities area through volunteer-led rescue, fostering and individualized and screened adoptions, believing that every animal deserves a chance for a loving home. Eliminate companion animal mistreatment, homelessness and death by providing community outreach and training, animal welfare services, and by partnering with other groups pursuing the same goal of bettering the lives of all companion animals.

Description

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a 5013(c) nonprofit companion animal rescue organization that operates almost entirely by volunteer efforts. We rescue companion animals and place them in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted by a forever family. TCPR focuses on rescuing older and/or sicker animals often overlooked by others because of their higher costs for medical care. We also provide community animal services including nail trim and microchip clinics, educational events and pet-friendly activity events. Our work cannot continue without ongoing help from amazing volunteers- please consider joining the TCPR team today and helping to save the lives of companion animals one life at a time!
