Mission Statement
Our mission is to build strong sustainable family and neighborhood systems through family support services, training, advocacy, community capacity building, and economic development. Our vision is to empower urban neighborhoods to become environments where families and youth flourish.
Description
We provide direct services to families and help build the capacity of the target communities of Columbia Heights and Shaw, as well as, other neighborhoods across Washington, D.C. Our direct services are bilingual (Spanish/English) and include:
- Family Services
- Youth Violence Prevention and Intervention
- Workforce Development
Moreover, we also work to build the capacity of our non-profit and agency partner organizations through:
- Technical Assistance
- Training
- Collaborations and Partnerships
