Mission Statement

CROP Hunger Walks are neighbors walking together to take a stand against hunger in our world. Different ages, faiths and backgrounds - together we've been raising awareness in NJ since 1973. We raise funds for local hunger related agencies and international relief and development.

We walk because we want to end hunger - one step at a time. We walk because we want to be in solidarity with hungry people and their struggle for existence.

Description

Some 2,000 communties across the country participate each year, traditionally around World Food Day, in October.

What difference does the CROP Walk make?

FUnds raised in a CROP Hunger Walk assist people in need around the world For example, $50 can enable a woman to attend literacy classes and change her life forever. $110 can provide emergency food supplies for a family of five's need for a month.

1/4 of all funds raised go to support local food pantries and hunger related agencies.
