About Owl's Hill

Located in north Williamson County, Owl's Hill might be called an Environmental Garden. The 160-acre area is managed for the benefit of native plants and animals, and is open by appointment only. It offers several miles of trails through different habitats, and a Visitor's Center with a large room for meeting space, a small kitchen, an insect loft with observation bee hive, live bird and snake exhibits, a fossil display and a gift shop with nature related items. Picnic areas with tables are available with conveniently located ortable toilets. A covered pavilion provides an all weather program area and is availablefor group rental. Although the Sanctuary is not open on a walk-in basis, numerous school, scout and public programs are offered throughout the year.
