To provide outdoor recreation to indiviuals that are disabled and/or terminally ill.
Description
Dream Catcher is a non-profit organization that helps individuals that are permanantly confined to a wheelchair and/or have a terminal illness enjoy outdoor and outdoor related activites. These activities include: hunting, camping, fishing, wildlife observation, four wheeler riding, youth camps, hunter education class, nature walks, conservation and wildlife habitat improvement activites, firearm safety, and much more.
Dream Catcher was founded in 1999 by Centerpoint Energy employee, Bobby Bower, and his wife, Cathy. Together, they manage almost 3000 acres of property specifically maintained to provide a safe experience for all applicants free from public access.
