AARP Tax-Aide is a volunteer-based 501(c)3, non-profit, tax exempt organization.administered by the AARP Foundation. Last season AARP Tax-Aide helped over 1.8 million people at 8365 locations throughout the United States. Volunteers comfortable with computers are in great demand as our local organization shifts to an all computer based tax preparation system. . Also needed are volunteers who are able to serve in various leadership and coordinating activities. Volunteers are asked for a minimum commitment of four hours per week over the ten-week tax season, February through April. Training is provided during January of each year.
