Mission Statement

Summit Academy provides a nurturing educational environment for students with learning differences in which each student's academic achievement comes to reflect his or her learning potential.

Description

The students who come to Summit Academy struggle in a conventional setting because their brains work differently.

A very unique and dedicated group of faculty members carries out the mission of Summit Academy. They are committed to the development of the whole child - social, emotional and academic. The faculty includes seventeen lead teachers, as well as small group instructors, special area teachers and teacher assistances. our studen to teacher ration is 6:1 for Math and Language Arts.

In addition to our excellent faculty members, Summit Academy also offers an on-staff Art Therapist, Speech Therapists and an Occupational Therapist to enhance our students' total development. We also offer a variety of enriching rpograms including Science Exploratorium, Art, Music, PE and Technology as well as a broad range of after school activities and sports.
