Mission Statement

The mission of the Florida Park Service is to provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources.

Description

St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park comprises the northern 950 acres of Jupiter Island and 3,888 submerged acres, including a protected worm-rock reef that runs south from the inlet for 4.7 miles. Abundantly endowed with mangrove-lined creeks and the largest contiguous stretch of undeveloped beachfront in Southeast Florida, this stretch of barrier island offers an enjoyable, pristine experience.
