What we do:

CTRF provides cancer research funding for conventional, integrative and complementary phase I and phase II cancer research trials of some of the most cutting-edge researchers from around the world.

• CTRF focuses on cancer research which can have an impact on cancer patients today not 5 or 10 years down the road à ¢llowing for immediate results for individuals fighting the disease.

• CTRF ONLY provides funding for cancer research (not outreach, education, etc.) which assures a focused, immediate impact on patients.

• CTRF funded research encompasses the most innovative applications of conventional therapies (chemotherapy, radiation and surgery) and the best in science-based complementary medicine (nutrition, biofeedback, psychoneuro-immunology, spiritual, etc).

• CTRF funded research only supports clinically based studies that have passed the test tube stage, are ready to make a significant impact on cancer patients, and do not include use of laboratory animals.

• Thanks to the generous underwriting of daily operational expenses, CTRF is a charity where 99 cents of every dollar donated to CTRF directly goes to fund cancer research. This ratio is unparalleled in any not-for-profit setting.

Since 1991, CTRF has funded or is funding 63 grants totaling over $15 million dollars.
