Mission Statement

OUR MISSION
Crescent Park Multi-Cultural Family Resource Center
founded in 1996 seeks to develop systematic approaches
to Integrating Resources into the Crescent Park housing
community. Service-enriched housing represents an innovative
and systematic change in addressing the long term needs of
families and individuals. As part of U.S. Housing and Urban Development’s Neighborhood Networks Initiative, the Crescent
Park Multi-Cultural Family Resource Center works with residents to find programs that suit their needs.

Description

During the fall we have an after-school program Monday-Friday from 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Our program begins the third week of August and lasting until the end of the school year. The number of students we serve are between 10-30 students. The age group that we serve are between the ages 6-17 years of age. Volunteers must be cultural sensitive since we serve a number of people whom are people of color. We are a center that work with many youth that are "at risk." It is extremely important to have patience and a sense of compassion.
