Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The SCSO is a national leader in providing orchestral music for everyone in the community.
There are many ways to help. This year there will be a number of concerts and events where your assistance would be appreciated. Consider being a host, someone who can greet other patrons, check tickets, hand out programs and help out with water and ticket concessions as needed.
Are you a baker? Our musicians would so enjoy a cookie or snack during intermission! Are you very organized? We could use your help with meetings, social activities and fundraising events. Could you provide office support, prepare mailings and assist the staff during the workday? Are you good with graphic design? The music library is a wonderful place to work.
None of these sound challenging enough? How about strategic, marketing, and fundraising? Soon we hope to engage musically the schools and libraries. Ladies and/or Gentlemen, what about setting up a guild to support the orchestra and future endeavors?
If you think you might be interested then lets look at your interests, talents and availability. Each volunteer opportunity will require a different skill and time commitment but please do not be dissuaded, a symphony staff member will be there to teach and support.
We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for symphony, musicals, multimedia, jazz, opera and pops. You will be making a commitment to the success of the Symphony while working with others who share your passion.
Students and families are welcome volunteers!!
