Description

The Neighborhood Christian Clinic (TNCC) is a non-profit medical and dental clinic located in central Phoenix which opened for patient care in 1999. It was organized by a group of health care professionals with a three fold mission to: Meet the medical and dental needs of a medically underserved population in urban Phoenix Share the love of God with interested patients and colleagues Disciple healthcare professionals to train and equip others to share the love of God The clinic provides primary and urgent care to patients without medical insurance. In addition, interested patients have the opportunity to pray and discuss spiritual issues with staff and volunteers. In 2012, patients received the following services: almost 10,000 office visits, at a cost to the patient of $40 per visit Prescription medications provided at no additional cost On-site laboratory and ultrasound testing, and referrals for x-rays, at no charge Comprehensive dental care including hygiene, fillings, crowns, extractions, and dentures Free or low-cost referrals to a volunteer network of over 40 specialists
