At the A.R.K. Humane Society LTD we emphasize proper care, as well as love and attention to our animals. We work with you and your family to find the pet best suited for you.

Description

The A.R.K. Humane Society LTD is a non-profit group of caring individuals who help rescue homeless animals in Marshall County and surrounding areas. Originally a network of foster homes, The A.R.K. opened a shelter location in April of 2002. The A.R.K. is a no-kill shelter, so our animals remain with us until they are adopted. The A.R.K. is not affiliated with any government agency and operates solely on donations and volunteer labor.

I was downsized from my job on Jan 30 it has been wonderful to be able to volunteer a few hours a week at the shelter. The time not only helps the shelter but it also helps me to feel a great accomplishment. I would like to try and continue volunteering after I find another job.
