Mission Statement

The mission of Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue is to educate the general public about the need to spay and neuter pets, to educate the general public on the Giant Schnauzer breed, the proper care, training, diet, etc. for the Giant Schnauzer breed, the need for rescue, to rescue and provide medical care (including spay or neuter), where necessary, and foster care for Giant Schnauzers who are in need of placement, and to find a permanent home where they may live out their live in a happy, healthy, loving environment.

Description

Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue is composed of all volunteers who love this breed. We do fundraisers in Phoenix to raise funds to cover fees incurred that are not covered by the adoption fees. We completely vet dogs that come into our care and provide what ever medical needs they may have. We do booths at local events where we educate people about our breed and the importance of spaying and neutering pets. We have a website, do brochures, do Fun Days where all sizes of schnauzers can get together and network with other rescues through out the US and our Valley. Our volunteers live all over the Phoenix area.
