COPE Community Services, Inc. is a private, nonprofit community service and behavioral health care organization providing pathways to recovery for individuals and families and innovative solutions to community problems. COPE offers comprehensive programs, resources, and support for recovery from substance abuse, serious mental illness, HIV/AIDS, as well as from the stresses and challenges that affect our health.
For over thirty years, COPE has provided hope and opportunities for overcoming obstacles that prevent individuals from fully enjoying life, work and relationships. Restoring the capacity for a positive and productive life is what recovery and COPE are all about. COPE helps equip individuals and families with skills to deal effectively with circumstances and problems of daily living and psychiatric or substance use disorders. Staff are available to discuss programs and services.
COPE collaborates with organizational neighborhood, government, and stakeholder groups to create sustainable solutions to community problems. For example, COPE works with the Meth-Free Alliance to help stop the use of methamphetamine. COPE hosts the annual Arizona Women's Conference, an event that inspires and educates the community on issues important to the wellness of women. COPE's Health Promotion programs offer HIV/AIDS testing, street educational outreach to high risk populations, and a drop-in center providing referrals and educational and support activities. COPE develops affordable housing, job readiness, and employment training solutions for disadvantaged populations.
