Mission Statement
Steeped in the Jesuit philosophy of forming students into men and women for others, Blessed Sacrament School provides an education that emphasizes lifelong learning, as well as spirituality and concern for others.
Description
At Blessed Sacrament School, the principal and pastor are responsible for providing the curriculum adopted by the Department of Catholic Schools. This basic curriculum is prescribed for all elementary schools, beginning in kindergarten and continuing through the eighth grade. Additional instructional programs are dependent on the resources and needs of each student.
Subjects Studied:
Math, Literature, Reading, Spelling, Handwriting, Health and Safety, Science, Music, Art. Religion, Family life, English, Physical Education, Computer and IPAD use
In addition to the full curricular program, Blessed Sacrament School initiated a new Film and Technology into the standing curriculum during the 2013/2014 school year. Students are able to study film and multimedia and use this technology to create their own story.
