Mission:

To facilitate a vibrant Main Street business district nurtured by volunteers, business and community involvement that honors the unique Sedona sense of place. m ain street matters!

The Main Street District of Sedona is a vibrant pedestrian-friendly destination that embraces the beauty of the surrounding red rocks and creates a unique experience for neighbors and visitors, enhancing the community for a ll to enjoy

Description

We support the historic business core of this rural (10k) community by producing free community events, and by implementing beautification projects. We believe, and work with the National Trust for Historic Preservation 4 point approach for our non profit business ethics. If you have a healthy, vibrant downtown.. you also have a healthy and vibrant City. We have created a "sense of place" that has increased visitors with and during the decline of the national economic downturn. We (the City of Sedona) do not have any industry to sustain the community, but the tourist/visitor tax dollars do sustain our City. Our Program encourages all people to visit and spend time and dollars within our boundaries that helps the businesses, which helps the City of Sedona, which then helps provide services to the residents of our community. Trickle down system working at its best.

Sedona Main Street appreciates all its volunteers. It creates beautification projects and free events for all to enjoy. This impacts the community and creates a vital and vibrate City
