I am a steamboater who owns and operates a 26 foot launch at the Hudson River Maritime Museum. All of the Hudson River steamers that I remember as a child: the Robert Fulton, Alexander Hamilton and Peter Styvestant are lost forever. One of my "impossible dreams" is to put a comercial side wheel steamer back on the Hudson! Since none are available ,the S.S. Columbia would be a wonderful alternative. I will be happy to support your project and encourage other steam boaters to do the same! Good luck! John
