Description

HOW WE WORK

Donated product is distributed I Care Atlanta’s 3,000-square-foot warehouse located in Doraville, GA, which includes a refrigerator truck, industrial freezers and cooler space allowing us to accept and distribute donated meats, produce and other perishable food items that might otherwise go to waste. Many of our families and partnering agencies come to the warehouse to select product. Our Partner agencies are located in Metro Atlanta service area.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Our goal is to serve the homeless and low income families by furthering their opportunities and addressing their personal needs to help them take responsibility for their future and their families. To this end we have launched a GED training and Job Placement center, which includes adult basic education and English as a second language. We feel that we can best serve their needs by going to them and developing relationships to help them climb out of the cycle of poverty, and bring them out of the old lifestyle into a more productive one.
