The Blount County Humane Society is a grass roots, community based, non-profit public charity dedicated to helping all God's creatures. We believe that helping animals means the preservation of life.....not ending it and our goal is to make all of Blount County a No-Kill Community. We are working to make sure no animal is killed to due to lack of space, breed, illness, or injury. We believe that every life is valuable. We have achieved a 99.8% save rate in our partnership with the City of Maryville's Animal Shelter that serves the cities of Maryville, Alcoa, and Rockford....and we want to keep saving every animal.
