Solar Living Institute

Description

The Solar Living Institute (SLI) is a 501c3 non-profit institution with a national reputation for solar training and sustainable living education. The mission of the SLI is to promote sustainable living through inspirational environmental education.

Our 12 acre demonstration site in Northern California exemplifies this message with organic, permaculture gardens, solar arrays, natural building structures and an air of peace and tranquility by our ponds.

We offer workshops on subjects ranging from keeping backyard chickens to advanced solar training.

Our internships run through the summer and winter season offering a variety of training opportunities and free entry to our classes.
