The Parks and Recreation department provides recreation facilities and a series of community recreation, arts and leisure programs. These programs are designed to help local residents improve their overall health and quality of life.

Description

The CATCH Healthy Habits Program of Parks and Recreation is an intergenerational program that provides opportunities for teams of adult volunteers to work with K-5th graders to learn and practice healthy lifetyles - healthy eating habits and physical activities. CATCH is a one hour week program for a series of 8 weeks.
