Mission Statement

Our mission at Bellevue Elementary School and Stony Point Academy is to participate in the education and shaping of children into outstanding adults. We pursue this mission not only through traditional classroom education, but through innovative programs alongside CalSERVES AmeriCorps to provide individual attention and afterschool programs to make sure that students' needs are holistically met.

Description

Bellevue Elementary School and Stony Point Academy provide education for young students from grades K-7. The schools also offer a number of afterschool and tutoring programs alongside CalSERVES AmeriCorps.

Americorps was founded in 1993 by USA the federal government as a movement to engage adults in intensive community service. AmeriCorps programs meet critical community needs. Here at CalSERVES, we promote education and the sustainability of nonprofit organizations. One way we do this is by coordinating volunteer programs.
