Mission Statement

Senior Volunteer Service provides senior volunteer opportunities by tapping the skills, talents and experience of seniors age 55 and older to meet a wide range of community needs through two programs: Senior Companions and Foster Grandparents.

Description

Foster Grandparents are older adults who offer love, wisdom and support to children. They assist children and youth in schools, hospitals, drug treatment centers, correctional institutions, Head Start and day care centers.
