Tax Time

Description

Tax Time's purpose is to provide the Central Ohio community with information about, and access to, free, high-quality tax assistance services and financial resources that help low and moderate income households achieve financial stability. Primary program partners include the AARP, which operates 17 Tax Counseling for the Elderly sites, the Ohio Benefit Bank, which operates 11 tax sites and the United Way, which manages 17 VITA sites. HandsOn Central Ohio serves as our primary point of contact with its 2-1-1 telephone number, connecting people with one of the Coalition's free tax assistance centers. In 2011, the Tax Time Coalition served more than 18,000 households throughout central Ohio.
