Description
Revere Beach Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2001. Its purpose is to continue the heritage of Revere Beach as a nearby retreat for New England families; to preserve the beach’s unique historic and natural assets; to strengthen the beach as an asset to our community by the development of programs and partnerships within the community that further this goal and the overall well-being of our community; to plan and oversee the continued improvement of Revere Beach. The Partnership consists of an executive director, a volunteer Board of Directors, and other volunteers that share a love for Revere Beach.
The main event of the organization is the Revere Beach National Sand Sculpting Festival, which just celebrated it's 10th year. Funds raised during the event are used to offset the expenses of the festival and to fund the organization’s efforts throughout the remainder of the year including establishing a capital plan which will allow the organization to fund major improvement projects that aim to strengthen the fabric of the Revere Beach community.
