Description
At Elder W. Diggs, Indianapolis Public School 42, we are excited to welcome community partners into our school. These partnerships enable our school to build a network of support in our community. We are an urban school, located in a high poverty area of downtown Indianapolis
We recognize that the more informed parents are about resources and support, the more engaged they become in their child’s education. For this reason, we are inviting local businesses and organizations to become our partners in education. I am hopeful that you will consider joining us in this effort and offer your time, resources, or a donation to positively impact the lives of our students.
Community partnerships allow schools to experience new opportunities. Working collaboratively, we can build a stronger learning environment for our students and families. Through your support and your caring, our school will be rewarded throughout the upcoming year! The investment of your time and effort provides immeasurable benefits to our children now and in their future.
We are interested in finding professionals who will donate time each week to support our students in reading and math. Volunteers would work one-on-one with students who either need enrichment or are struggling academically and require extra guided practice.
