The Farm School

Description

The Farm is an intentional founded in 1971, based on the principles of nonviolence and a respect for the earth. The Farm School is a K-12 educational resource center serving day students from The Farm community and the surrounding area and home school students at a distance. We believe that the best way to learn to live in peace with each other and our planet is to create a safe and supportive environment where we can "be the change [we] wish to see in the world." Our school is uses a responsive project-based curriculum and a hybrid consensus/democratic process to create this kind of environment.
