Andy Barth is not a career politician. He's not a professional office seeker. But he is the most experienced and qualified candidate in MD's 3rd District Congressional race.

After 35 years as a reporter in Baltimore, he knows the 3rd District. He's covered every important development in the state, and been inside almost every school, every hospital, every veterans hall and wildlife refuge and rec center in Maryland. He's talked to the people of the state, but more important, he's listened to them. He knows the many strengths and concerns of the voters.

Andy pledges to bring a voice of decency and common sense to Congress. He will work to solve problems and get things done; not increase the toxic fog of political posturing and partisan back-biting that infects discourse in Washington. He's earned Marylanders' trust as a reporter; and he'll fight to keep that trust in Congress.
