Mission Statement

A nationwide volunteer program, RSVP invites adults age 55 and over to use their life experience and skills to answer the call meeting the critical needs of the communty.

Description

RSVP invites adults to put their experience to work solving problems close to home. Whether teaching children or adults to read, creating a recycling program, or providing much-needed support to non-profit agencies, RSVP volunteers are making their communities stronger.

I'm a transfer student from China. In China, I take part into many volunteer activities.I really love a sentence is that Love make the world go around. In China, there are thousands of people over 55 years old that have a lower quality life. I hope that I can help them have a better life no matter where I am. On the TV dramas, I saw most of the American people have a better life than Chinese people do. When I really arrive in the UK, I find that there are still some people need help especilly the old one. I totally believe that your organization is very meaningful. Our world will become better because of our help and love.
