Description

The Blount County Animal Center has been protecting and assuring the welfare of both animals and people of Blount County Tennessee since November of 2009.The Blount County Animal Shelter animals need attention every day regardless of whether the complex is open or not. Volunteers are needed for many different parts of the center and there's something for everyone to do here.

Blount County Animal Center is a fun and welcoming place to volunteer. I volunteer 2 to 3 days a week there either walking/socializing small dogs, large dogs, playing with kitties or helping with their animal transport program. It's a lot of fun and a good way to get your animal fix in.
