Description

Since 1952, volunteers have contributed thousands of hours of service to the patients, their families, and to the staff of Driscoll Children's Hospital. Our volunteers work in a variety of areas to provide an added dimension of attention and are an invaluable part of the hospital team.

These volunteers are also the ambassadors to our community. This service and dedication contributes to the efficiency of the hospital and creates a unique caring atmosphere.

I loved volunteering at Driscoll! Delivering books to children throughout the hospital made my day! Seeing children smile and get excited helped ease their anxiety during a stressful time. I highly recommend volunteering!

I am retired and am an artist and I am hearing impaired and I know sign language all my life. I do acrylic paintings and drawings. I am interest in volunteering. I have a service dog and he's mixed terrier. I have train him well. He command to my sign language to him and he loves kids and people.

I would want more teenagers around my age to helping around this summer.
