Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment, is to equip victims of domestic violence with the appropriate financial tools and resources needed to enable women to leave or recover from the economic portion of domestic violence.

Description

Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment (SAFE) services are free of charge to victims of domestic violence. SAFE's training equips survivors of domestic violence with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to end the cycle of economic abuse, while maintaining their personal safety. Classes are structured as one-hour modules covering specific topics including Job Seeking, Resume Creation, Interviewing Skills, Customer Service, Personal Finances, Networking and Basic Employment Law 101 - outlining employment rights that every worker should know.
