Mission Statement

The purpose of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Harrisburg, PA, Inc. is to respond to the human service needs of people throughout the fifteen counties comprising the Diocese of Harrisburg. Catholic Charities does this by creatively fostering the ideals of Christ through a caring, living faith by: promoting and advocating respect for all human life while providing a continuum of services to individuals, families, children and elderly.

Description

Catholic Charities ESL Program serves adults with limited English proficiency in the Harrisburg area. We serve beginner through advanced level ESL students with a variety of classes and one-on-one tutoring. Our language curriculum also includes classes for basic literacy, conversation, academic writing, civics education, computer skills, and computer assisted learning.
