Louisville AIDS Walk, Run and Pet Walk Mission Statement: To Raise Awareness and Funds for local HIV/AIDS Service Organizations through education, marketing and promotional activities and through participation of walkers and volunteers in a safe, fun, educational event.
AIDS Services Center Coallition, Inc. Mission Statement: To provide a forum and formal structure by which it may initiate, collaborate and support ongoing and future HIV/AIDS programs and services in order to prevent duplication of efforts and gaps in HIV/AIDS programs and services, and to develop, implement, and monitor the progress of a unified, strategic plan for HIV/AIDS programs and services.

Description
Each year more than 5,000 people flock to Waterfront Park to join in the local against HIV/AIDS! Louisville AIDS Walk, 5K Run and Pet Walk is a community-wide collaborative effort to help families, friends and neighbors who are struggling with HIV/AIDS.
Louisville AIDS Walk is notable for the diversity and passion of our supporters who represent all races, ages and backgrounds. Together we stand united in a powerful demonstration of compassion and action.
For 20 years, Louisville AIDS Walk has been a model of cost-effective fundraising and extraordinary community activism. 100% of the money raised stays right here in the Louisville Kentucky and Southern Indiana area.

About ASCC: For over two decades, AIDS Services Center Coalition, Inc. (ASCC). has served as a coalition of HIV/AIDS service organizations in the Louisville Kentucky and Southern Indiana area. AIDS Services Center began in 1989 and was incorporated in 1994 into AIDS Services Center Coalition, Inc. This umbrella organization consists of ten local non-profit agencies that provide direct service to people both infected and affected with HIV/AIDS.
Our Board includes voting At Large Community Members as well as agency representatives from AIDS Interfaith Ministries of Kentuckiana Inc., Clark County Health Department/Hoosier Hills AIDS Coalition, Centerstone, Friend to Friend, HIV/AIDS Legal Project of The Legal Aid Society, House of Ruth, Louisville Metro Department of Community Services and Revitalization, the Ryan White Community-Based Dental Partnership Program of The University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Volunteers of America and The 550 Clinic.
ASCC oversees serves as the Board of Directors for the Louisville AIDS Walk Run and Pet Walk, Kentucky's largest HIV/AIDS event. Each year, the coalition organizes a series of events to commemorate World AIDS Day.
ASCC is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity so all donations are tax deductible as provided by law. Our organization, officially AIDS Services Center Coalition, Inc., doing business as Louisville AIDS Walk, Run and Pet Walk, has been reviewed by the Better Business Bureau's Charity Review Service. We are proud to report that we meet all 20 of their Wise Giving Alliance's Standards for Charity Accountability. We have are also a GuideStar Charity Check verified organization.
