Mission Statement

Arts for Learning, The Indiana Affiliate of Young Audiences, Inc., empowers children to achieve their creative and intellectual potential through arts in education.

In Indiana schools, not all students aspire to the highest levels of achievement. The reasons for this "aspiration gap" are complex. But we know that one way to close it is through exposure to the arts.

Arts for Learning gives Indiana students opportunities to engage in empowering art-related activities and experiences, sparking their curiosity and stimulating their minds. Our unique programs place professional artists in Indiana classrooms for performances, presentations, workshops, and other programs that connect kids with the power of art.
