Patterson Park Public Charter School Is a tuition-free public school-of-choice, open to K through middle school grades, expanding one grade level each year up to 8th grade. Offers theme and project-based curriculum rooted in the community. Emphasizes the use of Patterson Park for physical education, hands-on exploration and community service projects. Has formed community partnerships with organizations that will support the school through hands-on learning opportunities. Is a community participation school that depends on family input and support. Provides ongoing special assistance to students for whom English is a second language to ensure academic growth. Understands that students learn in different ways and is committed to all children regardless of learning styles or special needs. Offers enriched curriculum with instructional activities in art, physical education, Spanish language, and community service. Requires enrollment forms for all students. Acceptance is NOT based on past academic standing.
