Mission Statement

The River of Light Enterprise (ROLE) is a community-driven 501(c)3 addressing critical issues in housing, healthcare, education and small business development for vulnerable Americans.

Our intention is to balance the power in relationships between those in need and those who serve.

We are doing this by empowering those in need with the information, guidance and advocacy they need to receive services while building the capacity of neighborhood based service providers to provide quality services by promoting the level of public awareness, support and social investment in grass root initiatives rising to meet our Nation' s most critical issues.

ROLEâ s purpose is to facilitate healing, reconciliation and transformation. We achieve this by offering an array of personal, professional, organizational and spiritual development, care and assistance services to build the capacity of:

v Individuals to experience a sense of safety and security, acceptance and respect among family, friends, and peers, and satisfaction and fulfillment â a fuller, richer life.
v Organizations to operate in a manner that is fully accountable to the individual consumer and community, operates with the highest standards of ethics and quality, and contributes to the common good â a successful venture.

v Communities to engage the broadest cross-section of the community in creating practical, citizen-driven solutions to critical issues in health care, housing, education and economic development.

Description

The River of Light Enterprise offers two primary programs:

InLife Wellness Services - provides guided information and referral, advocacy, life coaching, skilled and non-skilled physical and psychological wellness services, and daily personal care and assistance to equip individuals with multiple disabilities living in the Denver-metro area with the support they need to maintain dignity, independence and self-determination.

Chamber of Compassion - The purpose of the Chamber of Compassion is to: a) build a unified voice for advocacy and social action on issues of sustainability; b) establish an unrestricted pool of resources to finance general operations and special projects; and c) create a qualified market of individuals to utilize and/or purchase services offered by our Chamber of Compassion members.
