Mission Statement

The mission of ZQSC is to provide help to its members, most of whom are new immigrants from China, for them to better merge into the new life in America.

Members of ZQSC are consisted of those who were sent down to the countryside during the Cultural Revolution in China and therefore had same experience, and those younger people who are just interested in ZQSC’s various activities.

Description

Founded in October 1998, Zhi-Qing Association of Southern California (ZQSC) is a State registered non-profit organization, and is granted by IRS as a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit corporation.

ZQSC has carried out different kinds of activities including editing and publishing annual journals and weekly local newspaper column (in Chinese), information and educational seminars, reading discussions, singing and dancing, sports and other recreational activities.

ZQSC has regular activities in every Saturday evening at the Temple City Community Center, 10144 Bogue Street, Temple City, CA 91780. ZQSC has participated in many community social and cultural events, and has been well known in Chinese American communities in Southern California region.
