The mission of the Fuel Fund of Maryland, Inc. is to supplement the resources of those experiencing hardship with essential home energy needs.
We fulfill our mission by working to achieve the following goals:
Increase resources to meet essential home energy needs.
Serve those who come to us for home energy assistance.
Establish opportunities for collaboration between the Fuel Fund and its local service providers.
Advocate and influence legislation, policies and regulations to better serve clients and establish partnerships with home energy suppliers.
Raise money to support the mission and operation of the Fuel Fund.
Since 2000, the Fuel Fund has been certified under the Maryland Association of Non-Profit Organization' s seal of the Standards of Excellence as an organization whose management policies, governance, practices and procedures meet the highest ethical standards for nonprofits in Maryland.
The Fuel Fund of Maryland, Inc. (FFM) is a private non-profit organization dedicated to helping Maryland residents who need energy assistance. Founded in 1981, the umbrella organization is comprised of local fuel funds in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Montgomery Counties.
