Description

At TRUCHA, we are working with young gay/bisexual men who have sex with men YMSM between the ages of 17 and 29.

1. Mpowerment: This program allows young guys to enjoy and learn through different activities, such as: Group hikes, Ice Cream Socials, Laser Tag, Movie nights, Pool Parties, Party Game Nights and more. Participants will also have an opportunity to become volunteers or core members, which means they will be part of the events planning and co-facilitating groups with their peers.
2. Free HIV Testing: This program is focused on testing young guys, their sexual partners, peers and friends. Testing is confidential and NO BLOOD IS REQUIRED, guys get their results in 20 minutes. The guys may also take advantage of our incentivized social network testing program.
3. Healthy Relationships: Is a 5-session, small group intervention with young gay/bisexual guys living with HIV. It is an entertaining social group focused on developing coping skills the guys may need to make decisions regarding whether, when or how to: 1) Disclose to family and friends; 2) Disclose to sexual partners, 3) Build healthier and safer sexual relationships.
