Mission Statement

Housing + Education = Success! You can make a real difference in the lives of children and teens in Arlington. An hour a week can change a life forever. AHC's programs work well because they are located in the communities where the families lives.

Description

Volunteers are a critical part of AHC's tutoring program. For just one hour a week, you are matched with middle and high school students to help with homework, test prep and projects. More importantly, you serve as a mentor and role model for these students. Volunteers are needed once a week for about an hour a night - from 6:00 or 6:30 to 7:30 or 8:00, depending on the community center.
