To promote optimal health, development, and self-sufficiency of Rensselaer County's children and their families through home visiting services that support parents from pregnancy until their child is ready for school.

Description

Healthy Kids is one of the Healthy Families America and Healthy Families New York Programs. Healthy Kids provides education and support to families of infants, toddlers, and preschool children through an intensive home visitation program. Family Support Workers provide regular home visits, with focuses on child development, parent-child relationship, family planning, self-sufficiency, and other such topics.
